Roller Skate Land Chula Vista is no longer open. Boo Hoo! It was our favorite San Diego area adult session roller skating rink. It had great music and a perfect wooden floor. It was Skate This and The Old School Skaters home rink. We will miss Auggie, the DJ and owner.

Roll Bounce This was a movie that I was hoping would re-introduce Old School Skating to the public and make it popular again. I was a little dissapointed. It had a weak story line with some second rate acting and very little technical skating moves. It failed to portray the fanatical enthusiam and love for the sport that was what roller skating was all about in the 70's. The documentary "8 Wheels" is much better.
