Even though roller skate dancing is not quite as popular as it used to be, they are still keeping it alive. Even after rink after rink has closed in the San Diego area, they still find a place to meet and have some roller skate dance fun each weekend. |

Description: Every Sunday the boardwalk behind the Hilton Hotel is transformed into a Roller Boogie Heaven where skaters use the scenic and spacious area to have a good time. Skaters groove to the music all day as they glide and slide with style and grace. Some work on Skate Dance routines. Others hone their skills and do some amazing tricks. Many sit on the wall and watch in awe. It is the greatest example of an outdoor roller rink on Beautiful Mission Bay. |
